Hair prosthesis (prostheses for plural), are not only the description or coding name for insurance claims purposes, it is the name of an elaborate product which requires many steps to accomplish.

Breast cancer and hair loss goes together. The latter creates a major change in your body image. For most, it is a very tough transition that only “the “perfect hair prosthesis”, also known as “scalp hair prosthesis” or “cranial prosthesis” would make it easier. 

Rodolfo Valentin, as a designer of the very first medical scalp-hair-prosthesis, holds the top experience on crafting this sophisticated product. His first "Hair Prosthesis", was made for his mother "Sofia", a cancer victim losing her hair as a result of chemotherapy treatments.
In her memory, Rodolfo Valentin founded "Sofia's Hair for health" , donating free hair prostheses for cancer patients losing their hair that cannot afford the cost.
